nigeldessau.substack.com
A great tweet offered insight into the ten most common logical fallacies we all use and can fall for.
It took Ed Latimore, former Heavyweight boxer, to produce what I think was one of the best tweets of the last few weeks. @EdLatimore created a significant threat that is worth a read.
Each of these is explained well and with suitable examples. Ed says in his tweet, "Once you recognize them, you'll no longer be so easy to manipulate." For our purpose, they provide a usual guide to make sure we don't deceive ourselves and the story we tell ourselves.

You can read the real threat here, but the ten with less detail is here:
False Dichotomy
Straw Man
Ad Hominem
Circular Reasoning
Hasty generalization
Appeal to hypocrisy
Causal Fallacy
Appeal to authority
Equivocation
Bandwagon fallacy
